Privacy Policy
Green Growth (“we,” “us,” or “our”) runs the website at https://greengrowth.us (the “Website”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Last updated: 6 September 2026
1. The Short Version
This Website is an information hub. It links to our separate businesses; it does not sell anything, take payments, or create accounts. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics from Google or anyone else, and no cookies at all. The only personal information we hold is what you type into the contact form.
2. Information You Give Us
If you use our contact form, we receive and store what you enter:
• Your name and email address (both required)
• Your company and which part of Green Growth you are interested in (both optional)
• The message you write
We store this so we can reply and keep a record of the enquiry, and we send a copy to ourselves by email. We do not add you to a mailing list.
3. Information We Record Automatically
We keep a small, cookieless record of Website usage so we can see which pages and links are useful. For each page view or outbound link click we store:
• The page on our Website, and the destination and label of any outbound link you clicked
• The website you arrived from, reduced to its domain — we deliberately discard the rest of the address, because full referring URLs can contain private information
• Your country, as reported by our hosting provider
• Whether you are on a phone, tablet, or desktop
• A short code that lets us count returning visits within a single day, described below
The short code is produced by scrambling your IP address and browser identifier together with a secret value and the current date, using a one-way process. We never store your IP address itself. Because the date is part of the calculation, the code changes every day and cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next. It is not a cookie and nothing is stored on your device.
We are not claiming this is anonymous. Someone holding our secret value could work backwards from it, so we treat it as personal information and protect it accordingly.
Our contact form also records a similarly scrambled code and your browser identifier, which we use only to investigate spam and abuse.
4. Cookies
We do not use cookies. We do not use local storage, tracking pixels, advertising networks, or third-party analytics. Nothing is written to your device by this Website, so there is nothing for you to clear or opt out of.
If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal, we record nothing at all — the usage record described in section 3 is never created.
5. How We Use This Information
We use it to:
• Reply to you and keep a record of your enquiry
• Understand which pages and links are useful, so we can improve the Website
• Keep the Website working, and protect it from spam and abuse
We do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
6. Who Else Sees It
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
The Website runs entirely on Cloudflare, which hosts it, stores the records described above, sends our notification email, and provides the anti-spam check on the contact form. Cloudflare processes this information on our behalf under its own privacy terms. No other third party receives it.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or in response to a valid request from a public authority.
7. How Long We Keep It
Usage records are deleted automatically after 90 days.
Contact form enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a reasonable record of our correspondence. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
• Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict that use
• Turn off usage recording entirely, by enabling “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control in your browser
Email us using the addresses in section 13 and we will action it. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
9. Data Security
The Website is served only over an encrypted connection, and the records described above are held in access-controlled storage. We keep the amount of personal information we hold deliberately small, which is the most effective protection available. Even so, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s Privacy
This Website is intended for businesses and business owners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to Other Websites
This Website links to our other businesses and to podcasts we support. Those sites are separate, run under their own terms and privacy policies, and this policy does not cover them. Please review their policies before providing any information.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the revised version here and change the “Last updated” date at the top. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
